2026 MLB Playoff Ballparks by Park Factor — Which October Parks Favor Hitters
Eight clubs are left, so eight ballparks host the Division Series: Tampa Bay, New York, Cleveland, and Chicago in the American League; Milwaukee, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Atlanta in the National League. They range from Yankee Stadium (104 runs, 120 home runs), the best home run park in baseball, to Petco Park (94, 88), one of the hardest places in the majors to score.
A park factor of 100 is league average. Above 100 favors hitters, below 100 favors pitchers — a run factor of 104 means about 4% more runs than a neutral park. The numbers below are the 2026 factors Baseball NUT uses everywhere, from the full 30-park ranking to the label on every game page.
The eight playoff parks, ranked
Ordered by run factor, most hitter-friendly first. The Division Series is best-of-five on a 2-2-1 format: the higher seed hosts Games 1, 2, and 5.
| Park | Runs | HR |
|---|---|---|
| 1.Yankee Stadium NYY · Hitter's park · ALDS · Games 3–4 | 104 | 120 |
| 2.Rate Field CWS · Hitter's park · ALDS · Games 3–4 | 104 | 112 |
| 3.American Family Field MIL · Neutral park · NLDS · Games 1, 2, 5 | 102 | 108 |
| 4.Truist Park ATL · Neutral park · NLDS · Games 3–4 | 99 | 100 |
| 5.Progressive Field CLE · Neutral park · ALDS · Games 1, 2, 5 | 98 | 96 |
| 6.Dodger Stadium LAD · Neutral park · NLDS · Games 1, 2, 5 | 97 | 96 |
| 7.Tropicana Field TB · Pitcher's park · ALDS · Games 1, 2, 5 | 96 | 94 |
| 8.Petco Park SD · Pitcher's park · NLDS · Games 3–4 | 94 | 88 |
Two hitters parks: Yankee Stadium and Rate Field, both at 104. Two pitchers parks:Tropicana Field (96) and Petco Park (94). The other four sit between 97 and 102 — neutral by the app’s definition, though American Family Field leans hitter and Dodger Stadium leans pitcher.

The park gap in each Division Series
The biggest swing in the round is in New York and San Diego, where a series moves between a pitchers park and a park 8 points friendlier for runs.
ALDS: Rays vs Yankees
Tropicana Field 96 / 94 · Yankee Stadium 104 / 120
The widest home run gap of the round: 26 points. Tampa Bay hosts three of the five possible games in the domed Tropicana Field, where deep alleys hold fly balls in. Games 3 and 4 move to the short porch in the Bronx, a 314-foot target for left-handed pull hitters.
ALDS: Guardians vs White Sox
Progressive Field 98 / 96 · Rate Field 104 / 112
A 6-point run gap and a 16-point home run gap. Cleveland’s Progressive Field plays slightly under average with cool lake air; Chicago’s Rate Field is one of eight hitters parks in MLB.
NLDS: Brewers vs Padres
American Family Field 102 / 108 · Petco Park 94 / 88
The biggest run gap in the National League: 8 points, and 20 points on home runs. American Family Field has a retractable roof over compact dimensions; Petco Park’s heavy coastal air makes it the toughest park left to homer in.
NLDS: Dodgers vs Braves
Dodger Stadium 97 / 96 · Truist Park 99 / 100
The closest pair of the round: 2 points on runs, 4 on home runs. Both are neutral, so the venue barely moves the numbers in this series. Dodger Stadium leans slightly toward pitchers; Truist Park is almost exactly average.

Park factors and NUT
NUT does not adjust for the ballpark. It measures production against league average and adjusts for the season’s run environment, but it carries no park factor — so a home run at Yankee Stadium and one at Petco Park count the same. Read the Postseason NUT board for who is producing, and the table above for how much help the park gave.
In a five-game series that matters more than usual. A hitter whose club plays three games in a pitchers park and two on the road can post a quieter October line for reasons that have nothing to do with how the hitter is swinging. The live bracket shows where each series stands, and every park’s factor is on the ballpark index.
Park factors are three-year rolling averages, updated each spring. Values above are for the 2026 season. Dodger Stadium is listed by MLB as UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium in 2026.
