NUT Insight
Dansby Swanson and Pete Crow-Armstrong finished the week tied at +0.7 NUT with almost nothing else in common. Swanson mashed 5 home runs and drove in 11 across nine hits. Crow-Armstrong hit for half the power — 2 HR, 4 RBI — but got on base at a .615 clip and struck out just three times all week. Two very different paths to the same number, which is the whole point of NUT: it credits the free bases and the contact, not just the balls that leave the yard.
